Abandondaed Vehicle- SORN, NO MOT or Tax - Being moved around and parking in residential streets in Fleet.
Reported via desktop in the Abandoned vehicles category anonymously at 09:48, Monday 13 July 2026
Sent to Hart District Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9776252.
This car has been parked on the road in a small close almost overhanging the end of a driveway and causing a visual obstruction. It is parked under a beech tree which needs to have work carried out on and now cannot due to this parked car - which legally should not be parked on a highway or be driven on a road. Why do they keep getting away with simply moving it around the roads? It has been reported in Avondale and other roads and not taken away or the owners dealt with?

Thank you for putting this notice on the car on the 15th. The driver came that evening and removed the sticker from the car, leaving the car still there. Blocking the pathway also. I imagine they will move it within 7 days to avoid you destroying the vehicle and you will find it in another street again! Perhaps get the sticker on there on the day of reporting and they'll be caught unawares?

This vehicle is still here. It has been over the 7 days since your council notice was posted on the car and it is still here. SORN yet illegally parked on a road and also blocking a pavement for access, no tax or MOT and was driven on the road to move it here. When will the vehicle be collected please?

This vehicle is still here! Your parking officer visited on Friday (24th) morning and was in the process of sticking yet another 7 days notice sticker on the car as he 'wasn't aware' that it had already been done. I showed him the photo as above of the sticker on the car with the 7 day notice and reference code. He looked this up and confirmed that it had been stickered already and he confirmed he had reported the car now abandoned and it will be collected. This has not yet been done and the car is still causing parking issues and we can often not turn out of our driveway due to other parked vehicles in this small close. Please could you advise when it might be taken away please?
