Rightwing flag raising along A30/London Road

There are several flag raised on lampposts along the A30/London Road between the round about and the rail line. These anonymous, mass flag raisings are part of the rightwing "raise the colours" campaign backed and promoted by rightwing and anti-immigrant groups.

While anyone is welcome to raise a flag on their personal property, these mass, anonymous flag raisings are used to send a clear anti-immigrant message about the area and to intimidate. These are deeply offensive to some - and are quite simply vandalism of public street furniture. They should be brought down promptly.
