Someone has allowed highly chlorinated liquid to flow into the stream

Reported via desktop in the Hazardous waste fly-tipping category anonymously at 08:38, Friday 9 May 2025

Sent to Hart District Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7543571.

Someone may have emptied their swimming pool into the local stream, or cleaned their driveway with very strong chemicals, but there is a very strong smell of chlorine on the footpath that backs on to the end of Throgmorton Road (access it from Garnet Field and turn left and you will see. I don't know if you can do anything about what they have done as there is nothing to collect, but these chemicals have flowed into the stream and water course running at the back of the houses and will be disastrous for wildlife and will pollute the river that it flows into.
