Upper teenagers playpark - loose green metal bar

The equipment in the upper playpark in Calthorpe Park Playfield off Merivale, is painted green. Today I witnessed young children swing around a 4 metres+ green meta pole/tube/strut that looks like it is part of the equipment but is no longer connected to anything. They were swinging it around on their shoulders and bashing the equipment. Clearly something has come loose and needs to be fixed before someone hurts themselves.
