Hedging obscures view of traffic on a dropped curb crossing

Reported via mobile in the Other (non-highways) category anonymously at 19:42, Wednesday 13 March 2024

Sent to Hart District Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5709300.

There is a dropped curb crossing right next to a large hedge. To see past it one must lean into the road. When pushing a wheelchair or buggy it becomes impossible to see traffic and highly dangerous.

  • The hedge is 6ft high and grows to the road edge. You have to risk injury but leaning out into the road.if you are pushing a buggy or wheelchair the only option is to go backwards.

The curb is specifically dropped for pedestrians and has knobbled for those with sight issues.
