Developer has cut down hedge on Highways Authority land

Reported via desktop anonymously at 08:09, Wednesday 7 September 2022

Sent to Hampshire County Council and Hart District Council less than a minute later

The Albany Park developer has strayed beyond its boundary and cut down the hawthorne hedge on Highways Authority land bordering the Watery Lane Byway Open to All Traffic (owned by Hampshire County Council). Request the Highways Authority orders the developer to replace the hedge before houses are built in that area.

  • Neither Hart District Council (reported separately) nor Hampshire Highways Authority seem to care that developer has acted illegally - what is the point of authorities? How do we hold councils and developers to account?
