Mess left after Road Resurfacing

Reported via desktop in the Street cleaning category anonymously at 21:25, Thursday 26 May 2022

Sent to Hart District Council less than a minute later

After the small part of the road resurfacing done earlier this week, the workmen have left a mess on the road of large chunks of tarmac on the road and is a danger to both vehicles and cyclists.

This is not acceptable and needs to be tidied up and should have been done by the workmen but obviously it was to hard for them to do. Especially as most of them were standing around chatting most of the time.

Updates

  • In 2019 the Council instructed me to remove my hedge or they would do it for me. The photo shows that, at great expense, I had the hedge removed and a new fence installed. As a result the footpath needed repair and/or resurfacing because at the moment it is an absolute mess and potentially dangerous

  • Thanks for your comment, but this won’t be sent on to the council as comments are not sent on for some reason. If you want to report this to the Council it would be best to create a new report, this will then be sent directly to them and hopefully it will get fixed.
