Trees growing into fence shedding leaves and seeds over area and generally run down condition of the area

Reported via desktop in the Street cleaning category anonymously at 11:15, Wed 14 July 2021

Sent to Hart District Council less than a minute later

The car park and access roads are a disgrace and discourages pride if the neighborhood. The problem has existed for years witness the maturity of the trees and weeds. The cul-de-sac has been ignored by street cleaners and is never attended to. This area should be attended to and added to any cleaning schedule for the future

  • Trees still growing, weeds still seeding. A bit of attention to this problem would be appreciated

  • This is the third time for an update request and the third reply, no, it has not been fixed. A Hart employee passed the site with a blower but knew nothing about how to get it fixed. A road sweeping truck passed by and ignored the cull de sac. It is still overgrown and a mess. Somewhere somewhere there is a manager with responsibility for this situation but visible yet

  • Update no 4 Still no action on my request for weed removal and tree cutting in Hop Garden Road Hook. and no feedback on the question of exactly which department is responsible the remedial action. Continual requests for updates confirms my suspicion that update requests are a method of replacing action with confusion.

  • Update number 5. Still no action on my request for tree and weed removal to the area. Continual request for update from the advisor of the problem shows that it is not being taken seriously.

  • 6th reply to unaddressed problem. The trees are still growing, the leaves are still falling and creating a mess. The situation is deteriorating steadily to a point where a major contractor will be required to remedy the problem. This is getting beyond a joke and I can only conclude the issue is now in the too difficult file. At the very least a comment on the awareness of the issue would be appreciated

  • 7th reply to fix my street. No resolution of stated problem. No indication that fix me street is anything but a time-wasting fend off from real action. It would be interesting to find out who pays for this redundant facility and hope it is not a volunteer group or ultimately the taxpayer
