Dangerous overgrown shrubbery

Reported via mobile anonymously at 06:15, Tue 22 June 2021

Sent to Hampshire County Council and Hart District Council less than a minute later

The mixed shrubbery along the edge of Vicarage Road between Hawley Primary school and the private gravel road has become dangerously overgrown. When walking along with a child in a buggy after school drop off, I am forced to push my son straight through the overhanging branches. The risk of injury is high as it contains a lot of holly and brambles which could cause a face or eye injury.

Unfortunately this is a very narrow path with no alternative path on the opposite side. The road at that time of day is very busy so I cannot push him on the road either.

Please could this be addressed ASAP. Thank you.

Updates

  • For second week running bin collection (last week black; this week recycling) has not occurred. Recycling bin now full with potential for another fortnight without collection. This will mean putting recyclable material in normal landfill rubbish which defeats the object. What please is the issue?
