Repeated dog fouling in Azalea Park

Reported via mobile in the Dog fouling category anonymously at 23:20, Saturday 1 May 2021

Sent to Hart District Council less than a minute later

Over the past several months, I have observed dog owners bringing their dogs to Azaela Park and while off leash, pooing at a distance from the owners, and then dog owners failing to pick up and clear their dog’s poo simply because they are not nearby.

Just this afternoon when we opened our back gate to go into the park and found a pile of dog poo outside our gate.

Dog fouling in a park where children play, people sit and enjoy the space for chats, picnics etc, is unacceptable. There needs to be better policing of this issue and people need to be fined since they cannot seem to take personal responsibility for the dogs need to poo.

It is a common park area meant for everyone, people abs dogs alike and everyone should be cleaning up after themselves.
