Now counting 26 Potholes needing attention on Lea Wood Road
Reported in the Car parking category anonymously at 14:19, Sun 12 January 2020
Sent to Hart District Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 1932750.
Now counting 26 potholes all clustered together! You can't avoid them as there is always static parked traffic on one side of the road.
Despite half of these holes being marked by the council for repair for a second time - these potholes, which have existed for well over 2 years, are now getting deeper and wider. As the cold weather comes these holes will get much worse.

Half of the potholes have had a “repair”. Not sure why only half? And when I say “repair” the holes have had loose tarmac sprayed into them. This is always a bodge fix as most of the tarmac is loose and pulled out by vehicle tyres. Already there is sea of loose tarmac up and down the road.
Also there are only two “20mph Skid risk” signs facing in one direction where The Lea and Merivale join Leawood road. They are small and not very noticeable as they are on posts. Not the usual warning triangles by the side of road. There are no signs warning drivers coming down Leawood road. While I took these photos, cars were full speed as they had no warning and were spraying loose tarmac up the sides of the cars and up the road.

While not a permanent repair the potholes have been filled.
