Highway floods across. Complete lane at bottom of hill down from M3 junction 5 towards Hook
Reported in the Other (non-highways) category by Paul kinge at 12:44, Tue 29 October 2019
Sent to Hampshire County Council and Hart District Council 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1823802.
The culvert and run off the road are completely blocked and silted up, in rain it floods right across the Hook bound carriageway. This was reported last year to the extent nothing was done last winter, our MP Ranil got involved and a letter sent in February stating it would be sorted, it’s 9 months ago and winter coming in and it is worse than ever

As of two weeks ago this was still flooding. What is going on, HCC?

The recent heavy rain has made this extremely hazardous, with drivers moving over into the other side of the road to avoid the deep water.

The flood was completely across the road last night, I moved to the other side of the road but the car in front went straight through the centre of it and lost control, good one HCC, anyone gets injured you are so liable, I have an email dated last February 2019 from our MP Ranil and highways at HCC stating they were going to sort it last year. Why would HCC leave themselves wide open to damages?

Still a disgrace. Agree with all the above comments. People are crossing into on coming traffic to avoid the flood. If HCC can't fix it then at least come and pump the water out with a truck!
